British Columbia publishes a live register. OrgBook BC holds 2.8 million registered organisations with their names, addresses and status, each traceable to the credential that asserted it. It is not reproduced here — the Province licenses it “access only”, meaning it may be read but not republished without written permission. Search it directly: OrgBook BC. Why it is not used here.

Evidence depth

81/100

Deep record

This scores the depth of the public evidence assembled here. It does not score the organisation’s quality, reputation, solvency or risk. The formula is fixed and reproducible. See the formula.

Public footprint · version 1

Where this organisation appears in public records

Eight independent dimensions describe the size and shape of the evidence. They are deliberately not added into one company score: a licence, a grant, a director filing and a court finding mean different things.

Footprint is not performance.

A larger bar means more public records of that kind. It does not mean better, worse, safer, larger, more profitable or more reputable.

Municipal licences (1)

Place	Category	Number	First issued	Status
Burnaby	HOME-BASED BUSINESS - CONTRACTOR	00159925	July 1, 2026	APPROVED

A licence records permission to operate. It is issued by a municipality, not by a corporate registrar, and its presence says the organisation traded at that address on that date — nothing about whether it does today.

Parks Canada	18	$343,794
Environment and Climate Change Canada	1	$21,614

Value as published, not money paid. The federal contract value field includes the ceiling of standing offers and supply arrangements — purchasing capacity a department may never draw on. A large figure here can mean a large ceiling rather than a large payment.

Awards are attached to this record only where the evidence identifies exactly one organisation: a name and postal area that narrow to a single company, or a name unique across the whole national corpus. Proactive publication truncates the vendor postal code to three characters, so anything that could belong to more than one company is left unattached rather than guessed at. Totals are a floor in that direction. The full rules.

What it does

Licensed as: HOME-BASED BUSINESS - CONTRACTOR
Industry code: 23
North American Industry Classification System

Trade and licence class are the publisher’s own words, kept as written rather than mapped onto a vocabulary of this site’s invention — a Calgary “RESTAURANT” and a Montréal “Restaurant service rapide” describe the same thing and are not the same string, and pretending otherwise would put words in a city’s mouth. The industry code is the exception: NAICS is a standard shared across Canada, the United States and Mexico, so it means the same thing wherever it appears. Only some publishers assign one.

Why this is one record

3 public datasets from 3 independent publishers describe this organisation. They were joined into one record because the evidence below agreed — never on a matching name alone.

Same name and address — 6260 charles, burnaby, BC
asserted by City of Burnaby and Statistics Canada

An automatic merge requires a shared business number, or a matching name AND address — never a name by itself. How resolution works.

Freshness is measured, not implied. “Last captured” is when this project last completed a read of the whole source dataset. “Coverage kept” is how many immutable captures and meaningful capture-to-capture comparisons are available. A missed day remains an explicit gap; a later snapshot cannot tell us what happened inside it. See every source.

This page is assembled from open data. It is not an official record, and the registrar is authoritative where the two disagree. How records are assembled.
